(1) Oil pressure regulation and third pump solenoid valve
The function of this valve is to adjust and control the fuel pressure and fuel quantity. According to the engine load information collected from each sensor, the ECU will issue an opening and closing command to the fuel pressure regulator solenoid valve in time to adjust the fuel pressure. Send on and off commands to the third pump solenoid valve to control the amount of fuel supplied.
(2) Fuel injector
The fuel injector is one of the main components of the actuator. Its structure and work have been introduced before, and will not be described again.
(3) VGT supercharger control solenoid valve (for 8140/43N engine only)
The function of the solenoid valve is to control the movable vanes of the variable geometry section turbocharger. According to the engine speed and load information, the CU opens and closes the solenoid valve to control the vacuum passage of the movable vane position change, thereby controlling the charging efficiency of the turbocharger.
(4) Electrothermal cold start solenoid valve
When the engine is cold started, when any temperature of the air, coolant and fuel temperature sensor shows below 0°C, the ECU will turn on the cold start preheating solenoid valve and supply power to the plug of the electric cold starter until the engine is started. At the same time, the warm-up indicator on the instrument panel follows
show.
(5) Air conditioner compressor electromagnetic clutch
The air-conditioning compressor is driven by the electromagnetic clutch. When the engine coolant temperature exceeds 105°C, the ECU will disconnect the electromagnetic clutch and stop the air-conditioning compressor from rotating for a period of time to protect the air-conditioning system.
(6) Electromagnetic fan clutch
When the temperature of the engine coolant reaches (94±2)C, the ECU will make the electromagnetic fan clutch close and the cooling fan will work; when the temperature of the engine coolant drops to (80±2)C, the ECU will disconnect the electromagnetic clutch to cool down. The fan stops working.
(7) Electric oil pump
When the engine is started, the ignition switch is turned on, and the ECU makes the electric fuel pump work and keeps running while the car is running. If the engine cannot be started within 9s, the ECU will cancel the power supply to the electric fuel pump.
