(1) Read the fault code
IVECO special fault diagnosis instrument IT2000-WT is shown in Figure 1-111. Through the connection and operation of the fault diagnosis instrument and the ECU diagnostic interface, the fault information in the E(CU memory can be read, so that the maintenance personnel can quickly eliminate the fault.
From the CU fault database, more than 60 fault modes can be read. Each fault can be divided into two categories according to time: "existing" and "existing"; according to the type of fault, it can be divided into "power short circuit", "ground short circuit", "circuit open circuit", "signal invalid" ", "Signal value is too high", "Signal value is too low", "Sensor input voltage is too high", "Sensor input voltage is too low" eight categories.
The fault is in the CU, which is controlled and displayed by the timer and counter record, and the indicator light of the common rail fuel injection system is displayed with on and off.
When reading the fault code, you can operate according to the instruction manual of T2000-IWT fault diagnosis instrument.
(2) Clearing the fault code
The procedure to delete the fault record through the code display button is as follows
①Turn off the ignition switch.
②Press the fault code display button on the diagnostic instrument for about 4~8s
③Turn on the ignition switch, and do not operate the ignition switch in the following ten seconds.
